Schools
Canadian law requires that children aged 6 to 16 attend school, and public schools are free for all residents. In New Brunswick, public schools are offered in English and French.
Your child should attend the school closest to your home, in the language of your choice. To register your child in school, make an appointment with the school district office for the school you have chosen. Bring the required documents to your appointment, such as: immigration documents, passports, vaccination certificates, and school record of the child.
